The beauty of Cottonwood Lake attracts many people from all around. All through the long summer days, highs usually are in the 60's at Cottonwood Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 20's; nighttime lows at Cottonwood Lake during the winter frequently sink into the 0's. This site, the Talkeetna Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting
things. It's a delightful idea to stop at Cottonwood Creek, it's in the vicinity of Cottonwood Lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Archangel Creek. Cottonwood Lake is one of the lakes here in the Talkeetna Mountains.
