Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bean Creek Trail; there are other places here than Cooper Lake, for example       Upper Russian Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cooper Lake; Stetson Creek Trail is a wonderful local trail, and the peak of Cecil Rhode Mountain can be seen from Cooper Lake. For the period of the summertime here at Cooper Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 60's with overnight lows in the 50's.
