There's pleasant hiking along the Mitchell Bay Trail, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called McKinney Lake. At Coo Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 60's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Coo Lake. Don't leave Coo Lake without first going for a hike along the Hasselborg-Guerin Trail, and lakes are such serene locations, why not check out Hasselborg Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Silverbow Inn is a great place to get some rest, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Coo Lake; Distin Lake Trail is a great local trail. | |
