High temperatures at Coo Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Coo Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. Good hiking is available along the Distin Lake Trail; if       you need a place to stay Silverbow Inn is a nice choice. Don't leave Coo Lake without first going for a hike along the Mitchell Bay Trail, and you can go for a hike on the Hasselborg-Guerin Trail.
