Lake Clunie is right by the Bull Rock Trail. Lakes are fine; Beach Lake is a lake that's next to Lake Clunie. The slopes of Hilltop are so inviting nobody can resist, and you'll meet a lot of people from Anchorage here. If you need a place to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Anchorage Area -Eagle River- is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Lake Clunie that you need to camp here for a while, Eagle River Campground       is a perfect place for that. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Clunie has to offer, you can camp at Hidden Heaven RV Park. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Lake Clunie. Ramada Limited Anchorage is a good spot to get some rest; if you come at the right time of year, Eagle River offers some great whitewater. Not much precipitation falls here at Lake Clunie; September                  is when you get the most rain here while April is mostly the driest month. Throughout the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 60's at Lake Clunie. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Clunie dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Alpenglow At Arctic Valley is a tremendous local ski area, and the Bird Creek Trail offers hiking at its best.
