Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge is a glorious location to get some rest. It is very dry here at Chum Lake frequently; September is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is April. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Seven Lakes Trail; Dog Lake is a       nearby lake that you could check out. Chum Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Sunrise Inn and RV Park is a magnificent place to camp nearby; dry warm beds await you at Mckinley Foothills B&B. High temperatures at Chum Lake through the summer are in the 60's with overnight lows in the 50's.
