You're probably addicted to lakes, Chignaki Pond is one of those close by. At Chignaki Pond you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is April. There's so much to do here at Chignaki Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Denali River Cabins and RV Park is a brilliant       location for that; after a long day outdoors Best Western Lake Lucille Inn is a fine location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Coal Creek since you're here at Chignaki Pond; whitewater paddling is good on Eagle River. Chignaki Pond is one of the lakes here in the Talkeetna Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Talkeetna Mountains. Lakes are tremendous; Mud Lake is a lake that's near Chignaki Pond, and Settlers                  Bay Golf Club is a pleasant golf course nearby. During the long summer days, highs typically are in the 60's at Chignaki Pond. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Chignaki Pond temperatures sink to the 0's.
