Summer brings highs in the 60's to Chick Lake; the nighttime is a tad colder of course, usually in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Chick Lake during the wintertime regularly fall into the 0's. Chick Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a       day at, Sunrise Inn and RV Park is a magnificent local campground, and Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge is a nice location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Moose River Recreational Vehicle Park is always a great experience; Kalun Lake is a brilliant lake close by. Dry warm beds await you at Mckinley Foothills B&B.
