Why not camp at Golden Nugget Camper Park while you're here at Cheney Lake, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Bull Rock Trail. It's always splendid to pop by Russian Jack Springs, and if you need a site to stay Ramada Limited Anchorage is a delightful choice. If time allows, Katmai National Park & Preserve is a national park worth checking out, and a quick visit to Middle Branch South Fork Chester Creek is                  definitely a great idea. If you like the outdoors, you'll adore Cheney Lake. Lakes are fine; Lake 'O' the Hills is a lake that's in the vicinity of Cheney Lake, and you'll meet a lot of people from Anchorage here. Cheney Lake gets very little rainfall; September is when you get the most rain here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is a good area for people who like lakes. This lake is so wonderful.
