Getting to Slate Creek from Chelle Lake is easy, and Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge is a fine place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Chelle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Klutina River Fishcamp Svc is a fine place for that, and lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by Billy Lake.       Whitewater paddling is delightful on Sanford River; Chelle Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Kenny Lake Mercantile and RV Park is a tremendous local campground. High temperatures at Chelle Lake during the warm months are in the 60's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 0's while the cold winter nights at Chelle Lake are in the-20's. If you have a thing about                  the outdoors, you'll like Chelle Lake. Wrangell - St Elias National Park & Preserve is a fine national park.
