The beauty of Chain Lakes attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Ruby Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and Chain Lakes is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Pinnacle Mountain Recreation is a magnificent local campground. A lake close by is Thirtymile Lake, and after a long day outdoors Gold Miners Hotel is a great site to spend a night or two. So many cool things to do in the Talkeetna Mountains, not sufficient time.

| | Why not take a refreshing hike along the Chickaloon River Trail; there's whitewater on Kings River for all you adrenaline junkies. The Chickaloon Trail offers hiking at its best, and you can run the rapids of Granite Creek. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close to Chain Lakes has to offer.
