High temperatures at Cabin Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Middle Lake is a fine lake in close proximity to Cabin Lake, and Cabin Lake is right by the Sheridan Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a       kayak and hit Glacier River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Elsner Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Cabin Lake. Cabin Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; September is the month that gets the most rain; July is when it's the driest. If you come at the right time of year, Power Creek offers some perfect whitewater. Lakes? Sure, Lake Elsner is in close proximity.
