It is very waterless here at Buteo Lake ordinarily; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while April is frequently the driest month. High temperatures at Buteo Lake during       the days of summer are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Buteo Lake all through the wintertime frequently dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Seven Lakes Trail.
