At Burkholder Lake you don’t see much rain; September is the wettest month with most rain while March is mostly the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Talkeetna Mountains. There's whitewater on Moose Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Butte Lake.
