This is a perfect area for people who like lakes. Fish Lakes is a lake in the neighborhood; Mckinley Foothills B&B is a splendid place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bulchitna Lake has to offer, you can camp at Nancy Lake Marina, and if you come at the right time of year, Lake Creek offers some good whitewater. All through       the long summer days highs here at Bulchitna Lake get into the 60's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, typically in the 40's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Bulchitna Lake. Bulchitna Lake gets very little rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
