Bug Lake is located in the Talkeetna Mountains. Summertime highs at Bug Lake usually tend to be in the 60's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 0's, and overnight lows in the-20's for Bug Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Bug Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Grand View Cafe Campground is a fine place for that; while you're       here, you could have a look at Gypsum Creek. Around Bug Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Talkeetna Mountains will keep you coming back over and over.
