Not far from Buck Lake, you'll discover Lake Alexander which is a pretty lake; on a nice day you can take a hike along the Lake Alexander Trail. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Buck Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 60's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 40's. For the period of the winter this       place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Buck Lake tend to be in the 10's. The high level of rain makes Buck Lake a reasonably wet site; October is the wettest month with most rain; April is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
