     All our national parks are brilliant places to pop by, and Alagnak Wild River is no exception, and Kenai Landing is a fine spot to get some rest. Not far from Bottleneck Lakes, you'll locate Lower Cohoe Lake which is a beautiful lake, and dry warm beds await you at Kenai Airport Hotel. There's so much to do here at Bottleneck Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Cohoe Cove is a magnificent place for that. It is very arid here at Bottleneck Lakes  
   frequently; September is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is April.
Through the summer highs here at Bottleneck Lakes get into the 60's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Bottleneck Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Bottleneck Lakes is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Kasilof RV Park is a perfect local campground. Lakes? Sure, Upper Cohoe Lake is close at hand.

...the road or fishing for salmon in the local Kasilof river and the famous Kenai river.  Nearby Deep Creek is the launch site for Halibut fishing in the Cook Inlet or further south Homer boasts as the 'World Halibut Fishing Capital.  Just minutes away are beaches that provide clamming for the famous Alaska's razor clams.

The Park has 18 sites each separated by a natural areas of wildflowers, berry bushes and trees each with a picnic table. Twelve sites are pull-through capable of holding big rigs, six are back-in, eight of the eighteen are full hookups and the other ten have water and electricity. A dump station is also available. The Park has spotless restrooms, free showers and a laundry with three new washers and dryers. It also has a cleaning table with running water to clean all the salmon and halibut you catch. Although campfires are not permitted at the camping site due to fire restrictions, a central campfire area is in the process of being built which will allow visitors to enjoy nightly campfires and the comradely get togethers.
