People from Anchorage love to come to Blueberry Lake, and visiting Katmai National Park & Preserve is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Nearby lakes? Sure, Strawberry Lake is near Blueberry Lake, and Alaska BNB and Vacation Rental is a tremendous spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Country Gardens Nursery Dam is worth stopping at since you're here; why not head up to Alpenglow At Arctic Valley and strap some skis to your feet.

| | While you're here at Blueberry Lake you can take a hike along the Bull Rock Trail; don't forget to take a wonderful little tour to Chester Creek. It is very waterless here at Blueberry Lake generally; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and April is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. summer here at Blueberry Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 60's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; night lows at Blueberry Lake through the wintertime generally descend
into the 0's. The snow is great at Hilltop; enjoy a round of golf at Anchorage Golf Course. A great spot for whitewater paddling close to Blueberry Lake is Ship Creek, and if you came to camp Aspen Flats Cabin - Chugach National
Forest is a great site to do that. Blueberry Lake truly is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. This is a tremendous area for folks who like lakes. Delaney Lake is a lake around here. There's so much to do here at Blueberry
Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hiline Lake Wilderness Camp is a perfect site for that. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the area next to Blueberry Lake has to offer.

Golden Nugget Camper Park
 | Absolutely perfect!! We were blessed with good weather on our Alaska tour! The folks at Golden Nugget were so helpful. They knew the area and what was a must see for us. The grounds were well kept and the showers CLEAN!!!...Very nice, clean and quiet RV Park!! Lots of room to stroll around and relax.
Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. We have been going there for the past 3 years - it is the largest and best park in Anchorage!! Enjoyed their evening BBQs and entertainment!!
