A visit to Blueberry Lake is always a good idea. A tour to Katmai National Park & Preserve is worthwhile, and get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Campbell Creek. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Alpenglow At Arctic Valley; swing by Chester Creek it's a pleasant place to explore. What a location this is for outdoors people. | | look at, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Ship Creek. Blueberry Lake is regularly a reasonably dry place; through September this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is April. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Delaney Lake in close proximity to Blueberry Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and after a long day outdoors Alaska BNB and Vacation Rental is a splendid location to spend a night or two. you can take a hike along the Bull Rock Trail, and why not head up to Hilltop and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Anchorage here at Blueberry Lake, and Aspen Flats Cabin
- Chugach National Forest is a brilliant campground nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Hiline Lake Wilderness Camp is a tremendous location to camp, and Anchorage Golf Course is a magnificent golf course nearby. Country Gardens
Nursery Dam is worth visiting if you're here, and a great nearby hotel is Royal Suite Lodge. Blueberry Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. High temperatures at Blueberry Lake during the summertime months
are in the 60's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Blueberry Lake.

Golden Nugget Camper Park
 | Absolutely perfect!! We were blessed with good weather on our Alaska tour! The folks at Golden Nugget were so helpful. They knew the area and what was a must see for us. The grounds were well kept and the showers CLEAN!!!...Very nice, clean and quiet RV Park!! Lots of room to stroll around and relax.
Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. We have been going there for the past 3 years - it is the largest and best park in Anchorage!! Enjoyed their evening BBQs and entertainment!!
