Camping is available at Liarsville Campground, and you'll hit upon a pretty lake called       Icy Lake. Summer at Black Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Black Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Getting to East Fork Skagway River from Black Lake is trouble-free, and if you need a spot to stay Halsingland Hotel is a great choice. Why not camp at Skagway RV Park if you're here at Black Lake, and don't leave Black Lake without first going for a hike along the Skyline Trail.
