You'll need more than a day to explore everything Black Lake has to offer, you can camp at Liarsville Campground. You simply should love Black Lake. East Fork Skagway River is a perfect site to go to, and you can go for a hike on the Chilkoot Trail. The top of A B Mountain is easily observed from Black Lake, and don't leave Black Lake without first going for a hike along the Battery Point Trail. This lake is so wonderful.       For the duration of the days of summer at Black Lake highs are ordinarily in the 60's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Black Lake. Reid Falls is an inspiring place to go to while you're here, and going for a hike on the Skyline Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Black Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Skagway RV Park is a tremendous place for that; Black Lake is not the only place close by, Icy Lake is a close by lake.
