If you like lakes and you're in this part of Alaska you can check out Bentzen Lake. Yeah, come here to Bentzen Lake for a perfect time. An afternoon playing golf at Anchorage Golf Course is always a joy, and the Bull Rock Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Microtel Inn and Suites Anchorage - Airport is a great place to spend a night or two; Bootlegger Cove is close by and always fine to stop by.

There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Hilltop; Bentzen Lake is not the only place close by, DeLong Lake is a close by lake. Not far from Bentzen Lake you get some magnificent water scenery at Chester Creek Dam; nice skiing awaits you at Alpenglow At Arctic Valley.

site to stay Comfort Suites Airport is a perfect choice. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bentzen Lake has to offer, you can camp at Polar Bear Inn. All through the warm days of summer at Bentzen Lake highs are frequently
in the 60's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Bentzen Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
Bentzen Lake is mostly a quite
dry place; September is the wettest month with most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a tour to Katmai National Park & Preserve while you're here at Bentzen Lake, and hey, Chester Creek is a brilliant local stream.
