If you are in this part of Alaska make sure to pay a visit to Bench Lake. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Talkeetna Mountains is so good! If you're here at Bench Lake, you could take a look at Hicks Creek; the Chickaloon Knik Nelchina Trail offers hiking at its best. Bench Lake is a beautiful lake in the Talkeetna Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Gravel Creek.

Paddling on Hicks Creek is so much fun, and unsurprisingly, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Bench Lake is a lake in the vicinity. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Bench Lake get into the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 10's with temperatures at Bench Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.
