If you need a place to stay SpringHill Suites Anchorage University Lake is a glorious choice, and at Bear Paw Lake you always meet someone from Anchorage. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Hilltop. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Bear Paw Lake get into the 60's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Bear Paw Lake. This lake is so wonderful.

on Willow Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and Loon Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Around Bear Paw Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; through September this area sees the most rain; April is when it's the driest.
Riverside Camper Park is a glorious campground nearby, and Katmai National Park & Preserve is one of the destinations that are good to have a look at close by.

The grounds were well kept and the showers CLEAN!!!...Very nice, clean and quiet RV Park!! Lots of room to stroll around and relax.
