So much cool stuff in close proximity to Bear Lake, just amazing. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Bear Lake get into the 60's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Bear Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bear Lake; Resurrection River Trail is       a pleasant local trail, and Bulldog Cove is not far at all. A common amount of rain falls here at Bear Lake; most of the rain falls through October; May on the other hand is the driest. There's glorious hiking along the Lost Lake Trail, and Kenai Fjords National Park is a delightful national park. This lake is so wonderful. Marathon View is a good spot to get some rest, and camping at Stoney Creek RV Park is always a fine experience.
