There's so much to do here at Barry Lagoon that you need to camp here for a while, Zachar Bay Lodge is a wonderful site for that. Through the days of summer at Barry Lagoon temperatures are regularly in the 60's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Barry Lagoon temperatures fall to the 20's. The high level of rainfall makes       Barry Lagoon a quite wet spot; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Kodiak is a nice place to spend a night or two, and a pretty lake like Twin Lakes is a nice location to take a look at.
