This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some good folks from Anchorage here; if you have time to spare, Denali National Park & Preserve is a national park worth visiting. So much exciting stuff to do in the Talkeetna Mountains, not enough time. Lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Baldy Lake in the vicinity of Baldy Lake, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you       can always go whitewater paddling on Sheep Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Talkeetna Mountains. At Baldy Lake during the warm months highs are in the 60's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Baldy Lake sink into the 0's. The yearly precipitation here at Baldy Lake is about average; August is when you get the                  most rain here, and the driest month of the year is January.
