Baird Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Man, is there a load of entertaining things to do in the Talkeetna Mountains. Baird Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and if you need a place to stay Agate Inn is a nice choice. Fishhook Golf Course is a glorious golf course nearby, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Susitna River.
