Denali River Cabins and RV Park is a brilliant local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Archangel Creek. After a long day outdoors Agate Inn is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Susitna River offers some splendid whitewater. Anderson Lake is pretty dried up regularly;       September is the wettest month with most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm sites, why not check out Mud Lake in the vicinity of Anderson Lake, and Sleepy Hollow Golf Course is a great golf course close by. Yeah, come up here to the Talkeetna Mountains for a splendid time. Dry warm beds await you at ALASKAS SELECT INN WASILLA; Anderson Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Iceworm                  RV Park is a great spot to camp nearby. Be careful coming to the Talkeetna Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. There are other spots here than Anderson Lake, for example Anderson Lake, and let's not forget Government Creek which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. Anderson Lake is one of the lakes here in the Talkeetna Mountains. High temperatures at Anderson Lake through the warm months are in the 60's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
