Sure, Pine Lake is in the neighborhood, and after a long day outdoors Silverbow Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Lake Alexander, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Alexander temperatures plunge to the 20's. Lake Alexander is a quite wet place frequently with a large amount of rain;       the month with most of the rain is October while June is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Alexander; Lake Alexander Trail is a good local trail; the Hasselborg-Guerin Trail offers hiking at its best.
