Smith Lake is a wonderful lake in the vicinity of Ace Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge is a great choice. Ace Creek flows through this region; dry warm beds await you at Alpine Lodge. This spot rocks, just explore all the amusing stuff to do       right next door to Ace Lake. Going for a hike on the Bonnifield Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and camping at Chena Marina RV Park is always a perfect experience. Ace Lake is usually a reasonably dried out location; through August this area sees the most rain; April meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Ace Lake, for example Lake Killarney; a visit to Gates Of The Arctic National Park & Preserve is                  worthwhile. Really great skiing awaits you at Mt Aurora Skiland. Summer at Ace Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's.
