right next door to Bathing Beach, and if you have the time, Fort Washington Park is a national park worth taking a look at. Peters Hill can be made out from Bathing Beach, and not far from Bathing Beach you get some tremendous water scenery at Pentagon Lagoon Yacht Basin. You're
sure to run into some friendly people from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria here, and near Bathing Beach you discover a golf course called Henson Creek Golf Course. Whitewater paddling is good on Rock Creek, and George Washington's Grist Mill Historic State Park is both delightful
