Colby Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while here; why not take a refreshing hike along the South Sand Point Trail. Hoko River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you want to hit the beach, Hobuck Beach is nearby. Bahobohosh Point is not far from Sooes Beach at all, and on a wonderful day it's a pleasant idea to spend the day at Shi-Shi Beach.
