Shi-Shi Beach, Clallam County, Washington   We all have to check out the beach once in a while, and Shi-Shi Beach in Clallam County, Washington is a magnificent spot to go. There's so much cool stuff to do next to Shi-Shi Beach including fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and boating, so you may stay for a while. This is such a fun piece of coastline. Dropping by the beach here in Washington is a must. Wavy water and such a beautiful piece of shore is quite a panorama. The close by rooms are rather far from the beach, but do reserve a room before you go in view of the fact that it     is a very popular destination. For all you camping people there are campgrounds close at hand. Drift down the rapids of Hoko River in a kayak; nearby you stumble on Point of Arches. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Wind River Range. Take a little spree to Petroleum Creek while you're here at Shi-Shi Beach, and there's tremendous hiking along the Allens Bay Trail. This ski area is so pleasant. During your stay at Shi-Shi Beach do stop at close by Hobuck Beach, and don't leave Shi-Shi Beach without first going for a hike along the South Sand Point Trail. One of the best things about Shi-Shi Beach is its proximity to Sooes Beach, and Portage Head is nearby and always great to explore. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Shi-Shi Beach. Shi-Shi Beach is a wet site that gets   a good deal of rain; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is August. Summertime highs at Shi-Shi Beach commonly tend to be in the 60's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, typically in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Shi-Shi Beach.
