If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hoko River; you can spend the day on the beach at Hobuck Beach. Taking a little visit to close by Point of Arches is a great idea, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the South Sand Point Trail. A trip to Portage Head close to Shi-Shi Beach is always a good idea, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Allens Bay Trail. During your stay at Shi-Shi Beach do stop at close by Sooes Beach, and there's some flowing water close by, Petroleum Creek is a stream you can go to while here. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for Shi-Shi Beach. All the water falling down from the sky makes Shi-Shi Beach a wet site; December   is the wettest month with most rain; August meanwhile is the driest month. At Shi-Shi Beach during the months of summer highs are in the 60's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Shi-Shi Beach dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
