Ruby Beach, Jefferson County, Washington   Ok, you've been cooped up too long; Ruby Beach in Jefferson County, Washington is such a magnificent place. This is a tremendous segment of coast. Ruby Beach is not an enormously visited slice of shore, but it really is a magnificent beach. Beach folks typically enjoy this section of Washington. For all you camping people there are campgrounds in the neighborhood. A small number of hotels in close proximity, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance of a trip you're all set. Perfect glittering water and this slice     of shoreline will make you feel perfect. Don't leave Ruby Beach without visiting Bogachiel State Park, and there's whitewater on Calawah River for all you adrenaline kick people. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Cedar Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while here; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Bogachiel River. This is an incredibly pleasant ski area. Hiking along the Pass Trail is tremendous fun; a good location nearby is South Rock. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Boulder Beach, and going for a hike along the Rugged Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. So many entertaining things to do here at Ruby Beach, too great to be true. The high level of precipitation makes Ruby Beach a reasonably wet site;   the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is August. All through the summertime, highs generally are in the 60's at Ruby Beach. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Ruby Beach overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's.
