There's whitewater on Bogachiel River for all you adrenaline kick people; a day at pretty Boulder Beach close to Ruby Beach is a fine thing to do. Take a hike on the Rugged Ridge Trail, and you can run the rapids of Calawah River. And that's not all you can do here at Ruby Beach. The high level of rainfall makes Ruby Beach a rather wet location; most of the rain falls during December while       August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Ruby Beach ordinarily tend to be in the 60's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's.
