Taking a little trip to close by Makah Bay is a magnificent idea; some close by water includes Waatch River. The South Sand Point Trail is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Hobuck Beach, and time spent at Warmhouse Beach is always nice. The top of Bahokus Peak is easily distinguished from Hobuck Beach, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Allens Bay Trail.
