| | Alright, it's been too long since you went outside, and If you happen to be in Skagit County of Washington, Blue Heron Beach is a good local piece of coastline. This segment of Washington is always a pleasure to check out through the summer months. For all you camping people there are campgrounds in the vicinity. Blue Heron Beach is a site where you won’t distinguish large crowds, but spending time at this section of coastline is exceptionally enjoyable. There's lots of outdoors recreation available nearby such as boating, fishing, whitewater paddling, |

and swimming, so being without pursuits will not take place. Perfect sparkling water and a charming shore is a panorama worth seeing. Few lodgings close at hand, you'll have to go a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your automobile.
| | Not far from Blue Heron Beach you hit upon Fish Point; Saddlebag Island State Park is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit. You'll meet a lot of people from Bellingham here, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Samish Beach. There are some great whitewater spots on Whatcom Creek, and Scotts Point is close by and always delightful to check out. From a rain point of view Blue Heron Beach is a quite common place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July.
