| | River Range, just extraordinary. Near East Beach you discover the Galveston Island State Park Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and Fort Point is very near and is a tremendous place to visit. This ski area has so much to offer. A day at pretty Bolivar Beach near East Beach is a good thing to do. The high level of rain makes East Beach a pretty wet spot; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is March. High temperatures at East Beach throughout the days of summer are in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. During the winter highs are in the 60's while the cold winter nights at East Beach are in the 40's. | |
