East Beach is not a tremendously crowded segment of shoreline, and it positively is a nice beach. You can pitch that tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Fort Point is in the vicinity and always pleasant to stop by, and going for a hike on the Galveston Island State Park Trail is always a splendid adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Galveston Island State Park is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit. Lots of precipitation falls at East Beach; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is March. High temperatures at East Beach during the summer are in the 90's with nighttime lows | |
