| | THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BEACH, BUT IT IS VERY SAD BY THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WONDERFUL SAND DUNES BY THE 4 WHEELERS AND THE TRASH. I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS IS ALLOWED. TURTLES ALSO LAY EGGS IN THE SAND AND THE ATVS ARE HURTING THE EGGS.WHY DOES THE PARK COMMISSION ALLOW THIS. Says Wanda
This would be a beautiful place if it did not look like a landfill. There is lots of trash including broken glass that litters the beach. Cars and alcohol are also allowed on the beach which makes a dangerous combination especially for those walking on the |

Boca Chica Beach is a desolate section of beach 21 miles from the closest store. There are no facilaties on this beach so come prepaired. Says Terry Heaton

| | As long as you love beaches you will love Texas. This section of coast is so good. There are campgrounds quite near the section of coast where you can pitch that tent. There aren’t any accommodations close at hand but if you're ok to go a short distance then no problem but you'd better book in advance of a trip in view of the fact that these hotels fill up fast through the warmest time of the year.
