There's whitewater on Conasauga River for all you thrill seekers, and on a wonderful day you can stop by Parksville Beach. You can run the rapids of Big Creek near Shady Beach; Hiwassee/Ocoee Scenic River State Park is a stunning location any time of year. on the Conasauga River Trail; time spent at Shady Beach is always wonderful. You get a delightful sight of Sugarloat Mountain from Shady Beach, and Baker Creek Inlet is relatively close. Shady Beach is near Ocoee Dam Number One which is a gorgeous site definitely worth checking
out, and unsurprisingly Grays Branch flows through this neighborhood. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Shady Beach. Shady Beach gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month
of the year is October. All through the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Shady Beach with overnight lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 40's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Shady Beach dip into the 20's.
