| | YWCA Beach is not an extremely crowded segment of coast, and being at the beach is such an exciting thing to do, and this is an excellent site to do that. The campgrounds here at YWCA Beach are relatively magnificent. If you are in Rhode Island all through the summer you have got to stop by the beach. You may perhaps have to settle for a hotel a far from the beach if you want to stay for a few days, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your vehicle. Hit the beach if you want, Flynns Beach is practically right here, and the cheerful people of Worcester like to hang out close by. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear and Branch, and if you're a golfer then a splendid nearby course is Blissful Meadows Golf Club. Trail, and Country View Golf Club is a golf course nearby. There's fine hiking along the Munyan Trail; Quaddick State Park is a beautiful site any time of year. Getting to Herring Brook from YWCA Beach is trouble-free, and Spring Lake Dam has brilliant water scenery. Don't leave

Lots of precipitation falls at YWCA Beach; most of the rain falls throughout November while February is ordinarily the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to YWCA Beach with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at YWCA Beach temperatures dip to the 10's. |
