| | State Park Beach is a site where you won’t catch a glimpse of sizeable crowds, but it is a great slice of coastline. If by chance you love the great outdoors, you won’t be disenchanted; there's boating, fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, golfing, and hiking, so one will not lack enjoyable stuff to do. You may well have to settle for a hotel a far away from the beach if you want to stay for a few days, but do reserve a room prior to departure because it is a very popular destination. It's a pleasant idea to take a look at Mill River, it's next to State Park Beach, and don't leave State Park Beach without first going for a hike along the Walkabout Trail. A journey to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is recommended; a trip to Upton State Forest revives the soul. If you're here at State Park Beach and you like golf, you can stop by Bungay Brook Golf Club, and you can run the rapids of Clear and Branch. While you're here at State Park Beach you can play some golf at Fairlawn Golf Course, and you need to visit Coblin Rock if you're here. Enjoy a round of golf at Country View Golf Club not far from State Park Beach; you can go for a hike on the Ross Trail. A tremendous location
