There's plenty of outdoors recreation available nearby such as hiking, boating, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so one won't be deficient in entertaining things to do. The close by rooms are a little far away from the beach, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up slumbering     in your automobile. Scotch Beach doesn’t have loads of amenities, but being at the beach is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is an excellent spot to do that. Near Scotch Beach you find the Clayhead Nature Trail which is a great hiking trail; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Matunuck Shore Break. You need to stop at Lantern Rock while you're here at Scotch Beach, and the peak of Jobs Hill can be distinguished from Scotch Beach. It's always nice to have a look at Boiling Spring, and you might also want to pay a visit to Settlers Rock if you're here at Scotch Beach. Do visit Old Harbor while you're here at Scotch Beach, and a cool spot to explore is Snores Rocks. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do in the neighborhood of Scotch Beach. If you're here at Scotch Beach, do take a spree to Harris       Point; while you're here at Scotch Beach, checking out Clay Head is a must. Spend the day on the beach at Crescent Beach if you're here at Scotch Beach; Indian Head Neck is very near and is a wonderful place to stop by. A day at lovely Mansion Beach in the vicinity of Scotch Beach   is a perfect thing to do. Scotch Beach gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. High temperatures at Scotch Beach through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's; the nighttime is a tad colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Scotch Beach during the wintertime commonly drop into the 20's.
