Cove is close at hand and always good to stop at, and Old Salt Work Beach is a stunning beach to pop by. You can run the rapids of Matunuck Shore Break in close proximity to Mackeral Cove Beach. Mackeral Cove Beach is a wet site that gets a large amount of rain; the month of November
is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the summertime months, highs usually are in the 80's at Mackeral Cove Beach.
