| | We all have got to stop at the beach every so often, and Fogland Beach in Newport County, Rhode Island is such a glorious place. This is such a wonderful section of shore. Brilliant shining water and the seaboard is a wonderful panorama. There are campgrounds pretty in the neighborhood of the slice of shoreline where you can pitch that tent. You may well have to settle for a hotel a far away from the beach if you want to stay an extra day, but you'd better reserve previous to going given that these hotels fill up rapidly throughout the long summer days. Island has a lot of beaches. Fogland Beach is not an enormously packed segment of coastline, and it is a fine hideaway from the city. Wilcox Hill is picturesque and can be distinguished from Fogland Beach, and on a good day it's a perfect idea to spend the day at Peckham Beach.
| | While you're here at Fogland Beach you have to visit Fogland, and Green Valley Country Club is a good golf course close by. Nonquit Pond Dam is a charming place near Fogland Beach, and if you want to hit the beach, Sandy Point Beach is nearby. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Montaup Country Club is in the vicinity, and lots of folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River come here. The Glen is a magnificent place to spend some time. While you're here at Fogland Beach you can play some golf at Newport National Golf Club; you are in the neighborhood of Fogland Point since you're here. Fall River Heritage State Park is a great site to stretch your legs a bit;
don't forget to take a tremendous little trip to Almy Brook. A large amount of precipitation falls at Fogland Beach; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Fogland Beach with night lows in the 60's.
Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's while Fogland Beach nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's.
