The tranquility of the water and such a gorgeous segment of coast is such a lovely view. There aren’t any rooms in the vicinity but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do reserve a room ahead of going in view of the fact that it is a very popular destination. For all you camping people there are campgrounds in close proximity. |

Edgewood Beach is not an extremely packed piece of shore; scores of people like to come here to be close to the water. The surroundings of this segment of shoreline has so much. Edgewood Beach is not far at all from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River; you can spend the day on the
| | beach at Longmeadow Beach. Copps Cave is not far from Edgewood Beach at all, and if you're into cool geologic marks try Fuller Rock. A journey to Edgewood Beach wouldn’t be complete without a journey to nearby F. Gilbert Hills State Forest, and Pomham Rocks is a good site to stop by while in the area. Some close by water includes Pawtuxet River; one of the best things about this spot is its proximity to Sandy Beach. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
