Bonnet Shores Beach, Washington County, Rhode Island   I am a summer renter and would like info about beaches open to the public in the bonett shores area. There aren’t any hotels nearby but if you're willing to journey a short length then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up snoozing in your car. It's very unhealthy to spend all your time indoors; you need to get out of the house every so often; Bonnet Shores Beach in Washington County, Rhode Island is exactly the location. This section     of shore is so wonderful. For all you camping folks there are campgrounds close at hand. In Rhode Island you'll never run out of beach fun. Some of the things to do here are hiking, fishing, golfing, boating, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so it's out of the question to get bored. You need to visit Bass Rock since you're here at Bonnet Shores Beach, and Dunes Club Beach is reasonably close by if you're in a beach type of mood. A cool spot to stop by in the neighborhood of Bonnet Shores Beach is Jones Ledge, and you can hit the beach if you want, Conochet Club Beach is practically right here. Pettaquamscutt River is a brilliant local stream, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Rose Hill Golf Club. A journey to Fall River Heritage State Park when you're here at Bonnet Shores Beach is never a bad idea, and golf can be played at   Jamestown Golf Course. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Bonnet Point is close by and always great to stop at; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Clayhead Nature Trail. Dickens Reef is a great place to spend some time at, and there are some good whitewater spots on Matunuck Shore Break. At Bonnet Shores Beach you always meet someone from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River; Little Whale is an exciting thing to see since you're here. Why not explore The Bonnet also since you're here. During the warm months here at Bonnet Shores Beach, high temperatures generally reach the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bonnet Shores Beach plunge into the 10's.
