Among the exciting stuff you can do right next door to Bailey Beach are swimming, boating, golfing, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so becoming bored is not something that is likely to occur. Coggeshall Ledge is an exciting place to stop at while at Bailey Beach, and golf can be played at Jamestown Golf Course. Hazard Beach is right next door to Bailey Beach and is a gorgeous beach to take a look at, and an afternoon playing golf at Newport National Golf Club is always a pleasure. Rock, and Bailey Beach is not far at all from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River. Why not take a look at Rough Point also since you're here, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Matunuck Shore Break. Spouting Rock is a wonderful site to stop at while in the neighborhood.
