The campgrounds here at Playa de Tamarindo are reasonably great. A trip to Playa de Jaboncillo in the vicinity of Playa de Tamarindo is always a pleasant idea, and Punta Vaquero is very near and is a brilliant place to check out. There's a delightful forest close to Playa de Tamarindo called Bosque Estatal de Guanica, and since you're here, do take a trip to Bahia de la Ballena. You can run the rapids of Guabo River in the vicinity of Playa de Tamarindo, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Cueva Trail. If you want to hit the beach, Playa de Guayanilla is in close proximity, and going for a hike on the Meseta Trail is always a nice adventure. And that's not all you can do here at Playa de Tamarindo. Playa de Tamarindo is not far at all from Yauco; you can   go for a hike on the Lluberas Trail. Areciebo River is a good whitewater spot near Playa de Tamarindo. Through the warmest time of the year here at Playa de Tamarindo, high temperatures commonly reach the 90's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, usually in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 80's with winter lows in the 60's overnight here at Playa de Tamarindo. The high level of rainfall makes Playa de Tamarindo a rather wet site; September is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month.
