  Playa del Mar is not a tremendously crowded segment of shoreline, and many people like to come here to be close to the water. Beach people usually love this segment of Puerto Rico. The harmony of the water and the coastline is such a lovely vista. The campgrounds here at Playa del Mar are rather nice. This is a good section of shoreline. When was the last time you went to the beach? Playa del Mar in Mayaguez County, Puerto Rico is a wonderful site to go. Outdoors
    recreation is bountiful; some of the cool things you can do are boating, whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Going for a hike along the Vereda Helechal will
let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. There's some flowing water nearby, Cano Boquilla is a stream you can stop at during your stay. Hiking along the Vereda Caracol is good fun; you can hit the beach if you want, Playa Sabaneta is practically right here. If you come at the right time of year, Anasco River offers some tremendous whitewater.
