The sapphire swells hitting the beautiful Puerto Rico seashore is quite a panorama. Playa Laguna is not a fantastically visited segment of coastline, but you always have a good time when you're on it. You may well have to settle for a hotel a away from the beach if you want to spend the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your automobile. of Puerto Rico. For all you camping folks there are campgrounds in close proximity. There's so much exciting stuff to do next to Playa Laguna including boating, fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so one won’t turn bored. Lots of folks from Mayagüez come to Playa
| | Laguna; Bahia Bramadero is very near and is a great place to go to. Paddling on Guabo River is so much fun; a visit to Punta Arenas is always a good idea. Rio Hondo is a wonderful spot to have a look at, and Playa Punta Arenas is a scenic beach to check out. Get dripping wet paddling on Anasco River, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Vereda Caracol. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Playa Laguna. If you're here, you might as well stop at Quebrada Irizarry, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Vereda Descanso. | |

The peak of Cerro Cornelia can be seen from Playa Laguna, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Vereda Helechal. A tour to Puntas Arenas Beach in the neighborhood of Playa Laguna is always a great idea. Throughout the warm days of summer at Playa Laguna temperatures
are typically in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 80's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Playa Laguna temperatures dip to the 60's. Playa Laguna sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
