Playa Buye, Cabo Rojo County, Puerto Rico
|
| | Playa Buye is my favorite beach in the whole world. If you enjoy peace and serenity at any time of the year, this is the place to be. Too bad that many coconut palm trees were cut down to make way for far-too expensive condos. Nevertheless, Playa Buye is my secret garden forever. Says Naomi Melendez
I love Cabo Rojo. Says Mariely
Visiting the beach is always an enjoyable thing to do, and Playa Buye in Cabo Rojo County, Puerto Rico is the outdoors at its greatest. Playa Buye is not an incredibly visited section of shoreline, but when you |

are here for a while you will feel like a whole new person. Quite few places to stay nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room prior to departure in view of the fact that it is a very popular destination. A segment of shore such as this is too great to
| | miss. If you love the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's hiking, whitewater paddling, boating, fishing, and swimming, so you won't be deficient in exciting stuff to do. The way the water joins a lovely coast is such a lovely panorama. If by chance you're a camper you can raise that tent of yours at one of the brilliant campgrounds around here. You'll meet a lot of folks from San Germán-Cabo Rojo here, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Los Pozos Beach. Quebrada Zumbon is a magnificent place to visit close by, and you can | |

always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Lamela Beach. Going for a hike on the Vereda Helechal is always a delightful adventure, and why not stop at Punta Guaniquilla also since you're here. From Playa Buye you get a glorious vista of Cerro Guaniquilla; taking a little trip to nearby
Boca Prieta is a nice idea. So many entertaining things to do at Playa Buye, so little time. Go for a hike on the Vereda Descanso, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Guabo River. Don't leave Playa Buye without first going
for a hike along the Vereda Caracol. The high level of rainfall makes Playa Buye a rather wet site; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. During the warmest time of the year here at Playa Buye, high temperatures regularly get into
the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 80's with winter lows in the 60's overnight here at Playa Buye.
